Amway is a scam. In 1979, the FTC investigated Amway’s distribution model and allowed them to continue to operate provided they met a minimum of 70% sales to non-distributors, otherwise would be classified as an illegal pyramid scheme. Amway’s CEO recently stated in a WSJ interview that Amway’s external sales are only around 50%, although estimated to be significantly lower. The parent company is making billions off these suckers, that’s probably why they’re debt free.

and more over Amway is in more than 100 countries. I wonder if you are smarter than all the presidents/leaders of 100 countries. I wonder who in the world you are and in what status u claim things about amway.

I did my research before making a decision about this opportunity.

I can only make 1 comment.»Pigs dont know pigs stink»..this is so true. and I quit arguing with you because it doesnt make any sense

and coming to the evidence..is there any legal evidence that you can provide? Better Business bureau have give A+ rating and a only privately held company that is debt free. u should either get some help or agree to the facts and stop posting negative comments on Amway.

Answer this Brian..what is ur credibility and what is ur exposure to Amway..rather than on youtube or some broke idiot told you this doesnt work.

Again…u r not using ur brain..

If you think u r that smart, answer my questions

If u think you are so smart than the legal department of Federal trade commission and sears, bestbuy and all other partner stores of the affiliates of Amway, that proves ur credibility and if ppl should listen to you.

I wouldn’t encourage my family members to do prostitution or Amway, both are terrible industries. Amway’s almost been shut down before for running an illegal pyramid scam.

Good one Brian. But do you encourage others, ur family members to do prostitution to get Rich. If so, good luck. U have no insight and u r too dumb and stupid to agree ur ignorance. Ppl like you are the ones that put other ppl down.

It’s considered legal, but even prostitution is legal in certain places, doesn’t make it right. It’s still a scam and the evidence is there, ignore it all you want.

Hey Jack, do u know what needs a wash? ?? A dirty one, if ur brain isnt clean, it needs to be washed to make it clean. Grow up Bro.

Hey Bro, dont worry about the ppl trying to pull you down. Lets the Dogs bark, because a lot of dogs have barked since 53 years and the Caravan never stopped. Thumbs up and all the best.

Hey, u have no clue on what happened and how it survived. Federal trade commission did their research on the company in 1979 and they gave a clean chit saying the company is legal and valid and there is nothing inappropriate that is going on.

If u think, in America, an illegal company can run for 53 years with close to 12 Billion in sales, either u have no factual information on what u r talking about or sorry to say you might be stupid.

My ex father in law was in Scam way. I worked for him and heard all his speeches «this is a family business and lets think positive» in the end I was getting paid $16 a day working his cattle ranch so tell someone else your bullshit sales pitch.

The first time I saw the video in it’s entirety, was after I talked to my best friend about the company, His «research» was this video, which sweayed him not t join. I simply did not give up because of a few bad apples. I understood what was happening. I know in any business that there are bad people that scam you from bad workmanship to bad sales people to bad investors. I knew my association was reputable my sponsor was a guy named Doug Weir. Fouders Diamond and Amway IBOAI Board Member.

It was not shut down. Not even close. You are entitled to your own opinions sir but not your own facts.

If you were the ones with hidden cameras and you were the editors and only showed what you wanted out of context, you could make any scenario look shady or downright cultish. If one really wants to judge one of these meetings you really could not do it justice unless you attend one. You really could not judge why these people failed in Amway unless you compared their effort to those that succeed either.

It is is the TV networks best interest to smear Amway, and make it seem like a scam. To me it seems that those bent on making Amway seem like a scam should go and do something positive in their lives rather than spread negative or ill will toward others. You know Amway would not be half as difficult to build if people that cant cope with building Amway would just go on with their own lives rather than try to tear down what they failed to accomplish. Not everyone graduated college either.

Amway was very very close to being shut down for running an illegal pyramid scam in 1979.

You know, what is incredibly hard to do is to start your own multi-billion market from an average income or even less! yes I’m glad there is Amway to allow people with the drive and determination to succeed the chance to utilize this multo billion dollar manufacturing distribution, and logistical machine along with all the advertising and internet tools and training to our advantage!

So, technically legal, but did you watch this video? I’ve known Amway to be a scam since I was a kid.

NBC’s largest advertisers are makers of consumable products such as laundry, kitchen and other household cleaners as well as cosmetic companies and other health consumables. NBC does hold the manufacturers with high esteem P&G, SC Johnson Wax etc, and Maybeline, Covergirl etc are HUGE advertisers on NBC and other networks. Away is a direct competitor to their business partners. While it may be true that there are some people were found to be bad apples, doesn’t mean the whole company is a scam.

Google the following statement to view the US Government finding on how Amway is NOT an Illegal Pyramid Scheme: In In re Amway Corp.,(19) another landmark decision from the 1970’s, the FTC distinguished an illegal pyramid from a legitimate multilevel marketing program.

I take advice from successful people, not people who fail. Taking advice from you would be like taking investment advice from someone who went broke in the stock market. I’m sure not a fan f the stock market, but if I were I wouldn’t look for losers advice. I’d seek out the winners! People are still finding success in Amway like Santiago Ricardo Flores, Erv, Eric or Ethan Veno, (three brothers) Matt Pezzimenti or his brother Mark or his daughter Rose (new qualified platinum) I could go on and on

The only suckers I have found are the ones that quit Amway because they were to negative in the first place, and found every excuse to fail before they had put the work it takes to succeed. I have NEVER seen a naysayer spewing negative that has EVER been successful at ANYTHING else after leaving Amway. Conversely I have seen MULTIPLE examples of success from former SUCCESSFUL Amway IBOs building other successful ventures. BTW what’s your success story? Do you have an above average life or goal?

  • TennesseeSaint

    10 septiembre, 2013

No the reason Amway does not open stores is because if they did, they would take away opportunity from people who are IBOs local to these stores. Why would people need an IBO when there’s a store they can get items from? Also Prices aren’t high they are competitive and if there are some at a higher price point, it’s because they are a higher quality. They alike Pier One or Ikea to K-Mart or Big Lots or. Ikea or Pier One has higher prices for higher quality. Low quality hurts economies.
