4 diciembre, 2012Matt is great. Could someone tell me what song they are playing in the beginning? I love the progression.

4 diciembre, 2012This guy is amazing.. When I listen to his playing it reminds me to Duke Robbilard, Ronnie Earl, Jimmie Vaughan, a little bit of Robben Ford, Albert Collins and BB king. He’s Blues!

4 diciembre, 2012Oh, you must mean Derek Trucks. Hahah for a minute there I thought you were talking about toy trucks, or something. «He’s a hell of a guitarist, but you should see him play with toy trucks. It’s freakin incredible.»

4 diciembre, 2012Matt is just phenomenal, I’d love to see him play with trucks.

4 diciembre, 2012He’s really one of the best blues players out there. Really amazing. Matt, I hope we will have the chance to see you again perform at the Montreal Jazz Fest and the Tremblant Festiblues.

4 diciembre, 2012Without a doubt (IMHO) one of the finest blues players out there today – if not THE finest. I’m fortunate enough to live in Toronto, where Matt’s girlfriend also lives, so I’ve been able to see him live, in a very small club, several times, and that is something truly extraordinary. This guy is the real thing folks – if you ever get the chance to see him live – do it!!

4 diciembre, 2012I bought this DVD, highly recommend it. It’s more of a zen blues guitar lesson than showing licks…plus you get a cool sticker with the dvd..well worth the money
