13 junio, 2013The purpose of the stone is so you don’t have to cook the pizza as long. 15 to 20 minutes is way too long for a 550 degree oven. That’s just drying out your crust. With a stone thats been preheated for an hour at 550 degrees, you should be able to cook it in 5 to 7 minutes. It’ll taste much better that way.

13 junio, 2013great first video! i’m very impressed. polly-o isn’t my favorite cheese, but it’ll do. i’ve been all OVER jeff varasano’s pizza recipe for almost 2 years now and i like how you make your point about setting your oven on the highest heat setting available. keep it up! this is inspiring me to make my own video too 😀
