Powdered eggs are really useful. I have some in my food storage and rotate through it regularly. I purchase mine through Honeyvillegrain.

What’s the link to your consultant store? I’m sure we’d all like to support you, especially if we’re going to be ordering the doterra anyway. 🙂

I’m so excited that my favorite YouTuber (YOU!) has gotten into prepping (something that I’ve been trying to do for about a year and a half now.) Yippee!!!
My favorites YouTube preppers are southernprepper1, HealthyPrepper, Bexarprepper, Engineer775, and the recipe show atticus9799 sometimes does reviews of food storage products. Oh, and I listen to the «Homestead Honey Hour», which is a podcast that’s pretty easy to find on YouTube.

I bet I speak for a lot of your fans when I say that we love long videos. Since we watch your channel in the first place, don’t we all feel that more is better! 🙂 You are a real housewife and you educate us as well as make us laugh. So please don’t feel that your videos are too long. So what if it ends up taking all night to upload a video… so be it! 😉

If the baking soda right-from-the-box is too abrasive for you, you can always run it thru a blender, food processor or a spice/coffee grinder type machine to make a much finer texture. A friend’s husband [big burly Montana mountain man] used baking soda from the box as a deodorant [the wife has extreme chemical & fragrance sensitivities] but she said his armpits were raw from using the gritty baking soda as-is. The drs @ the Environmental Health Center-Dallas advise doing the pulverizing tip.

Sea salt is supposed to be more salty, then you use less. Less salt = better for you! I’ve heard a lot about the benefits of clay as well.

My kids love the realsalt and the redmond toothpastes. They are easy to order from the redmondclay website. Realsalt is readily available from wholefoods and other stores. It tastes much better than commercial salt IMO.

the doterra paste I think you can get off of doterra.com…but I am techinically a consultant because I bought a start up essential oils home pack thingy (which then gives you access) so I am not 100% if you need to go through a consultant. Amway’s toothpaste is Glister or Glisten if I’m not mistaken – I have tried it before it is pretty good.

I love your continued response…baking soda is awesome and cheap..I used to brush with that..maybe I’ll get back into that and see if my tracks come back. 🙂

Natural skin care (especially skin care) and it is very interesting what goes into EVERYTHING!!! It’s interesting to check out what goes into things, especially our foods. By the way I would love to see you make/ weave a dream catcher!

You can also make pills out of Diatomacious Earth. We take it and we give it to our animals we don’t have skin troubles or digestive troubles because the D.E. is amazing and so healthful. Real salt is great. I use Himalayan pink salt I buy it from amazon for about $4.00 a 2lb bag. The salt has a very high mineral content and is actually saltier than iodized/processed salt. I don’t buy iodized salt or sea salt anymore.

He did find something shiny but someone else had a claim on the space, but for another mineral…so he waits…hee hee.

the stone soup story made sense once i learned there are minerals, etc, that would be life giving.

Our blogtalk radio show is called The Homestead Honey Hour and it is on every Thursday evening at 9:00 p.m. eastern time. Four of us take turns hosting the show each week. Katzcradul is one of the hosts, I am one, then there is TheMrsVolfie and Michigansnowpony. The show is broadcast on Prepper Broadcasting website. Katzcradul’s husband’s channel is Paladinprepper. Hope that helps!

I use bentonite clay. It has lots of different purposes, but I use it as a facial mask and also to cleanse my hair/scalp. It really does pull the impurities from your skin. When I use it on my face, I can feel my skin pulsate and after rinsing my skin is so soft. When I use it on my hair, it strips the hair and scalp of toxins as well. But when I use it on my scalp, I add apple cider vinegar and tea tree oil. Love it!
